For more information and to see if your child is eligible, please follow the links below: Three and Four Year Old FundingThree and Four Year Old Funding: Your child is currently entitled to 15 hours free nursery funding per week from the term after their 3rd birthday. The funding is received from the government and is not means tested. The funding from the government is offered for 38 weeks of the year (in line with a school academic year). To assist with childcare during school holidays, and to ensure year round consistency for your child, we offer a stretched funding option where the 38 weeks of government funding can be "stretched" over the year. You may be entitled to an additional 15 hours of free funding each week - giving you 30 hours free nursery funding per week for 38 weeks of the year. Early Years Pupil Premium “EYPP”
In addition to the funding above, extra funding is also available to eligible three and four year old children. It is paid directly to the childcare provider who will carefully assess the child’s developmental needs and utilise the funding to best support this.
